We are looking for a receptionist and administrator to join our practice in Sea Point. We are three psychologists and two psychiatrists. The position will be half-day initially, five days per week, with the possibility of extending it to full-time at a later stage. The position will start in mid January 2018.
Main responsibilities will include: taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, receiving credit card and cash payments in the office, basic administration for medical aid purposes, dealing with patient queries regarding appointments and payments and assisting with basic office admin as necessary (eg: paying cleaning lady, putting cookies in the cookie jar, phoning internet service provider at times). You would join our current admin staff of two.
Requirements: A friendly and competent manner, with good people skills. Good computer literacy, with the ability and willingness to learn new software, as well as proficiency with MS Office. Good attention to detail and reliability. Familiarity with medical billing software and medical aids would be highly desirable, but not essential.
