Vacancy - Digital Designer Urgent, Location, Pinetown, West Suburbs, Job Type Full-Time. A vacancy exists for a Digital Designer, with a well established Company, in Westmead, KZN. The main responsibility would be the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work. This can be anything from responsive sites and emails to banners and microsites. You must have conceptual, digital, and web design experience With development of over 13 leading brands in the national market place, this position is suited for a creative who exhibits strong attention to detail and thrives in a growing, evolving, and dynamic environment, to help us create exceptional online experiences for our brands.

This covers all areas of digital and interactive design ranging from web applications to channel integration design. App design is where we are headed so if you are interested in learning this is the role to apply for Working from scamps or creating a range ofcross-platform design work Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community Experience in designing websites (Wordpress) and/or digital campaigns (including banners, microsites, emails) Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects and/or Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop) Proven understanding of typography, layout and colour Reporting of campaigns through Google and Facebook Analytics Development of social media campaigns. Knowledge/understanding of HTML and CSS can be beneficial but not essential. Knowledge/understanding of app design and development is advantageous. Collaborate with the other team members – designers and brand managers

Requirements: Minimum 2-4 years of digital and/or design experience. Degree/Diploma in graphic, visual or interaction design. Web design (Wordpress) Graphic design. Adobe Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). Digital design (across multiple channels - web, mobile/app, video). Must be fully computer literate on Mac. Hands on from concept through to the craft and detail of every brief. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Up to date understanding and knowledge of creative, tech and marketing trends.
