Dump Truck Driver (gravel end dump)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $19.50 to $20.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and surrounding area, Manitoba (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver\'s Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Experience: Experience an asset
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Type of Travel: Local
Documentation Knowledge: Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver\'s licence
Languages: English
