Primary Purpose: To conduct Microbiological and Chemistry analysis on all products and environmental samples as defined by NDA regulations, the FDC Act and the company’s specifications, in order to positively release, monitor quality and ensure food safety of products.

Minimum Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field. Minimum 3 years’ experience within Laboratory environment advantageous. Previous Microbiology experience is a must. Computer literate and knowledge of GLP/ GMP.

Product, raw materials, water, milk and swab testing – microbiological and chemical analysis; documentation of results. Equipment calibration, maintenance and cleaning. Stock taking on all laboratory consumables. Verification – production and laboratory equipment accuracy checking. Transfer of all product quality data onto computerized electronic system
