Job Title: Caregiver, Working Term: Permanent, Hours: Monday to Friday

Requirements: Assist patient with dressing, bathing, grooming and toileting. Provide support in handling basic household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and ironing. Plan, prepare and monitor meals for patient by conforming to meal plans meted out by healthcare professionals or family members. Clean area after meal and ensure appropriate sanitation is performed. Provide assistance with walking and light exercises. Change linen and ensure that room is aired out on a regular basis. Encourage patient to engage in both physical and mental exercises. Administer medication according to schedule. Accompany patient to doctors’ appointments or physical therapy sessions. Respond quickly to emergency situations by employing first aid and CPR practices. Observe changes in behavior or medical condition and report changes immediately. Take notes of responses to medicines and create reports for medical intervention purposes. Report any significant change in clients’ health/condition and communicate the same to the family/RN immediately.
