Duties: Support of mechanical equipment and electrical control issues on company systems. Includes phone, email and on-site support. Seeing equipment commissioning through to completion. Solving service issues in quick fashion. Supervisory role on-site for installation assistance. Includes contractor guidance and project management. Liaison between end user and contractor. Deciphering mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Time management. Construction of control panels from supplied electrical drawings. Includes panel wiring, assembly and installation. PLC programming and fault finding. Arranging travel and lodging for on-site support. Includes after sale service calls. Includes startup and commissioning of new equipment and controls. In office customer service support. Includes assisting the Parts department with customer inquiries. Research on inquiries from customers. Data implementation on customer database

Requirements: Knowledge of and ability to use PLC programs including, but not limited to Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, ABB and Delta. Ability to troubleshoot problems over the phone, via email and in person. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to make solid decisions and recommendations in a rapid paced, forward thinking environment. Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision. Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, task notes, correspondences, and other written materials. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, PLC code, Weigh Indicator programs, and HMI programs. Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications including, but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
