Job brief: We are looking for a resourceful, energetic & reliable FOH Restaurant Manager. McPherson's is a booming family restaurant & wedding venue in Table View. Fully booked year round for weddings & functions, whilst maintaining a busy restaurant weekly with restaurant specials & set menu's, as well as having several guesthouse's in the area and a small boutique garden centre.

Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurants standard of quality. Ensure efficient restaurant operation, waiter management as well as maintain general productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, & opening and closing duties.

Responsibilities: Coordinate the entire restaurant's FOH operation. Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction. Respond efficiently to customer complaints. Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible. Organize and supervise shifts. Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive. Manage restaurant bookings, plan & prep seating in advance. Control wastage - Breakages/Mistakes ect. Successfully represent McPherson's Brand. Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor  Waiter Management. Ensuring standard of service & oversee tables, perform cash ups & protect business against theft.

Requirements - NB South African ID / No Criminal Record / Drug or Alcohol History. Minimum 3 Years Working Experience in FOH Management. Professional - Punctual / Reliable / Trustworthy. Hard working & self starter. Proven working experience as restaurant manager. Demonstrated career experience in customer service management. Food and beverage knowledge. Proficiency in English - Customer & Telephonic Skills. Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software ( POS ). Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Financial Skills.
