Triton’s multi-disciplinary team comprises environmental professionals specializing in aquatic and terrestrial biology, environmental assessment, environmental auditing/monitoring, and resource management.
THE OPPORTUNITY: Triton is looking for  a dynamic individual  to join a well-established team  of environmental professionals  in the role of  Manager  –  Business Development.  This position  plays  key roles in advancing regional development initiatives  and  in pursuing regional business development opportunities.  This involves Regional Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Leadership and Team Building. QUALIFICATIONS: Technical diploma or degree in relevant field PMP Designation an asset Business/Management courses; diploma or degree an asset At least 7 years of experience in environmental, consulting fields and/or relevant experience in industry Experience in sales and business development Experience in budgeting and cost controls and relevant software Supervisory experience Sound knowledge of products/services in environmental consulting Strong technical skills in the environmental consulting industry an asset Ability to anticipate problems before they arise Ability to assist staff with setting personal goals Ability to prepare and make comprehensive presentations, participate in formal debate, and communicate professionally before an audience Ability to set business development goals for a regional office Demonstrated interest in business management Industry contacts Knowledge of business support functions including human resources, information technology, accounting and finance Strong desire to work in a team setting Strong leadership skills (mentoring, coaching, leading) Strong organizational skills Strong understanding of budget and revenue tracking Strong written and verbal communication abilities Class 5 drivers licence
