Salary: $15.00 to $21.00 Hourly for 50 hours per week

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Bricklayer Trade Certification, 2nd Period Apprentice, Driver\'s License
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Area of Specialization: Refractory construction, Refractory repair, Stone masonry, Prefabricated brickwork and masonry, Load bearing structural walls, Fireplaces and chimneys, General masonry work
Refractory Materials Used: Castable refracters (Refractory concrete)
Specific Skills: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units, Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing, Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations, Face, size, cut and lay stones, Lay conventional or tongue and groove blocks without mortar to build walls or foundation walls, Waterproof masonry, Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations, Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Estimate materials, labour, tools and equipment
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Own Tools/Equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
