Location, Other, Cape Flats, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time. Transport Company based in Cape Town requires a Code 14 Local / Long distance Driver.

Qualifying Criteria: Valid EC (Code 14) License with PDP. Must be between the age of 35-50 Years Old. Minimum 5-10Years’ Experience. Experience with Tri-Axle& Super-link Trailer. Clear Criminal record and ITC Clear. In good Health& of sober habits. Hands on approach to the job. Prepared to work weekends and public holidays. Knowledge and experience regarding Tarps, Chains and strapping. Knowledge and experience in transporting General and Abnormal Cargo. Mechanical knowledge will be to an advantage. Prepared to be on stand-by (When required). Must be willing and able to take instructions as well as work within a team. Must be dependable, reliable and be responsible.

Responsibilities (But NOT Limited to). Day to day inspection of Vehicle and to report any faults. Loading and offloading of various materials. Ensure the safety of other road users. Applicants must be prepared to be away from home for long periods at a time.
