Tailor Shop Manager – Dubai, UAE

Job Description: Responsible for leading all activities for the shop. He / She will be responsible for all financial transactions. The Manager will manage the quality and service of the services. Manager will ensure all operations are running as per set standards. Manager will manage be responsible for all staff, including training, coaching, and managing expectations, and ensuring all jobs are delivered to a high quality and on time.

The manager can easily manage multiple staff, and several projects at the same time.

Responsibilities: Supervise the duties of all tailors and staff. Generate sales through networking and social media. Bring new business from retailers from Meena Bazaar and Dubai-based businesses. Responsible for promoting shop across social media. Ensure fitting and sewing are performed to standards. Allocate the garments on the work line to the staff as needed to maintain maximum productivity. Ensure new tailor room staff are trained to techniques and standards. Generate a timeline by scheduling tasks to meet productivity goals. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Ensure all administrative duties are executed in a timely manner, including the completion and submission of required paperwork. Maintain machines in good working order; report needed repairs. Maintain the cleanliness of the workroom. Meet with staff daily to discuss timelines and ensure productivity in the workroom. Order and maintain the supplies necessary to run the shop Description
