A Tertiary Hospitality/Hotel Diploma or Degree is necessary as well as being: Experienced in managing a large and diverse property; Excellent skills in staff training, staff motivation and mentorship; Passion for his/her craft; Solid recent contactable references; Excellent people and communication skills; Extensive Guest relations, guest inter-action and ensuring at all times that guest experience expectations are met and exceeded; Driven; Eye for detail, Solid all-rounder - Food * Beverage * Housekeeping * Front Office; Hands on attitude - sound operational manager; Strong Team player and Leader; See to daily operations of the property; Attend GM Meetings/Budget meetings; Ensuring that the H.o.D's are complying with department/company guidelines; Able to think on his/her feet and be self motivated.
