Test analyst

My client are looking to strnegthen their Dublin team and are looking for a test analyst with 3-4 years experience.

Suitable candidates should have the following skills and experience:

Experience in development of test plans, test scripts and automation testing,

Test methodologies and experience of managing test cycles,

Full lifecycle experience,

ISEB foundation experience,

Experience working within agile framework.

Main tasks of the successful test analysts:

    * Identify valid test conditions then create relevant Test Scenarios and Test Cases applicable to both new and existing product functionality.
    * Execution of the agreed set of Test Cases, in line with the Test Plan and Development Project Schedule, clearly and accurately reporting test results and progress.
    * Resolution of test issues and retesting bugs when they are re-submitted into the test environment.
    * Review the project documentation to ensure a thorough understanding of the business and technical requirements. These may include business requirements, functional specifications, process flow diagrams and use cases, produced at varying levels of formality dependent on risk and complexity.
    * Liaise with Sr. Test analyst, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Software Engineers to derive logical sets of prioritised Test Breakdowns, assessing requirements and timescales for test execution to ensure they can be run in the available project time.
