Truck Driver (Experience in Truss/Building Materials Industry)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Flatbed
Type of Travel: Short-haul, Local
Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Cellular phone, Satellite tracking (GPS) equipment
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform emergency roadside repairs
