Forklift truck operator (LTL Cross Dock - LOADER 8pm-4am)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Night, Evening
Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 Hourly for 37.5 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification, Propane Certification
Experience: 5 years or more
Work Setting: Trucking company, Cross-docking facility
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Towmotors
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Stack goods, Handle dangerous goods and hazardous products
Additional Skills: Ship orders
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
