Position Info: This position has primary responsibility for Customer Service Representative - Mail Services support of mail services provided to the Association.
Major Accountabilities / Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to) Sorting of mail
Pick-up and distribution of mail at the Administration Centre
Preparation of inter-centre courier bags
Metering of mail
Processing of Canada Post registered letters
Printing and processing of Insurance Company documentation
Inserting printed materials
Documenting Mail Services transactions
Communicating with internal clients
Maintaining a safe, orderly and efficient facility
Background (Education/Licenses/Work Experience):
Formal Education
Graduation from, or current enrollment in, High School or Post-Secondary School
No Criminal Record
Skills & Proficiency:
Aptitude to operate mailing and inserting equipment
Accuracy to manually sort large volumes of mail and printed materials
Knowledge of Canada Post products and services
Organization and time-management skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Operational knowledge of business software including Microsoft Office
Knowledge of AMA’s Privacy Policy
Additional Comments:
This is a Temporary Contract position from May 2014 - August 2014 (Shift is 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (.5 hour lunch), Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
