Job Description: Our client is looking at growing their team of designers and developers. This is a vibrant, inspired organisation seeking young dynamic self-starters that have a passion for creating media rich, experiential digital solutions that excite the end user. The organisation work on very diverse projects that cover retail, exhibition and corporate environment, solving problems for their clients by providing intuitive software designed for the end user.

Delivery environments include Desktop, Touchscreen, iOS and android as well as IOT (internet of things) integration. Deadlines can be very tight and the work can be challenging but very rewarding when the final product is delivered.

The solutions are more than just efficient code. They focus very heavily on the end user experience. This includes functionality as well as how the user experiences the solution.

Job skills and experience required: BIS Multimedia degree from the University of Pretoria or similar is a perfect match for the companies requirements this will be a definite advantage

Languages required: C, C++, JAVA Developing to multiple platforms including desktop, Android, iOS and web Previous experience with Python, Django, Titanium, Adobe Director development space definite advantage

Ability to test and perfect the final solution

Deployment and maintenance of the end product

The ability to understand the projects and contribute to and conceptualize the end solution

 Ideal candidate profile as follows: A team player with a passion to play and learn A love for hard work, independently and in close collaboration The ability to both prototype messily and obsess over detail Strong, well-formed opinions and humble receptiveness to new ideas Sense of humour  A passion to play and explore. Yet know when to curb in the reigns in order to deliver a project on time. Not to be set in only one language or environment. Ability to identify when a specific development environment is perfect for us to commercially explore and push it to its limits. Think beyond just how to code the task at hand but constantly evaluate how the end user will experience the solution and adjust accordingly.
