Flight Dispatcher (Flight Dispatcher)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $45,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week

Education: Not applicable
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Flight Dispatcher Base Level, Flight Dispatcher Current Civil Aviation Document, Basic Radiotelephone Operator Certificate, Air Transport Pilot Licence
Experience: Experience an asset
Air Traffic Controller Specific Skills: Relay information to pilots in flight, Maintain radio and telephone contact with other control centres
Flight Dispatcher Specific Skills: Authorize airline flights over assigned routes, Delay or cancel flight if conditions warrant, Prepare and maintain flight plans, flight logs and other reports, Analyze environmental conditions and assess load and fuel capacity
Flight Service Specialist Specific Skills: Provide pilots with information essential to aviation safety, Support air traffic control operations, Check flight plans for completeness and accuracy
