Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Horticulturist Trade Certification, Landscape Gardener Trade Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Landscaping company, Lawn care company
Area of Specialization: Tree and shrub examination and treatment, Landscape design, Lawn and garden maintenance, Landscape construction, Hedge and shrub pruning, Horticultural consulting, Plant knowledge and identification
Type of Landscaping Experience: Residential projects
Landscape Design Skills: Manage landscaping projects, Prepare conceptual designs, Prepare working drawings
Construction Skills: Rock gardens, Fieldstone paths, Stone garden walls, Ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls, Interlocking brick, Retaining walls
Additional Skills: Plant care, Watering, Know and use computer hardware and software
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
