A Bookkeeper required for a small business in Hout Bay. The ideal candidate should be driven and have the desire to learn and perform tasks exceeding the limits of her responsibilities. This position requires someone that works well under pressure. You must be able to multitask effectively. You must be organised and have attention to detail.
Requirements: Matric, Diploma / Degree in Bookkeeping / Accounting, 3+ Years Bookkeeping or Accounting experience, Good computer knowledge (MS Office), Advanced Excel skills, Experience with VAT and VAT submissions, Strong analytical skills and data driven, Time management skills, Work well under pressure, Honest and reliable, A good problem solver with an attention to detail, Can make decisions independently, You must have a clear credit record
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to: This person will manage (with assistance from a dedicated admin lady) the books of the company, payments, bank accounts, bills, debtors, creditors, PAYE, tax, income and assets. This person will also investigate and recommend appropriate systems as required to improve efficiency and keep up with the company's growth. Also manage company statutory requirements and submissions.
