Job Description: A well-established Architectural Hardware (ironmongery) Consultant and Supplier, established since 1969 in the UAE, operating throughout the Arabian Gulf, is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy of a Finance & Accounts Manager.

The right candidate is desired to have the following technical and soft skills: A certified accountant from a recognized body of accountants (ACA, ACCA, CPA); Well versed at International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS, GAAP, IAS); Experienced in working on management information systems and inventory management systems, Oracle / SAP; Detail oriented and analytical; Able to meet deadlines while maintaining the accuracy of information and records; Able to represent the company in client meetings regarding payments; Good communication and reporting skills; and Disciplined and organized.

Job Description: The Finance & Accounts Manager will be working closely with the CEO while supervising the accounting staff to meet the following objectives: Monthly closing of financial and inventory records; Monthly financial reporting of company performance to the management; Ensuring accuracy of financial data entered into MIS by subordinates; Approval of expenses including petty cash expenses; Manage cash flows and advise and prepare cash flows forecasts for the management; Disbursement of salaries through the Wages Protection System (WPS); Co-ordination with banks regarding, financing facilities, guarantees, letters of credit, forward contracts, etc.; Checking the documentation for exports and ensuring they meet the customs requirements; Managing accounts payables and ensuring suppliers are paid timely and accurately; Managing accounts receivables and ensuring that debtors settle their invoices on a timely basis; Coordination with external auditors to get the audit done on a timely basis Supervise annual and interim inventory counts; and Project costing analysis.
