Forklift Operator (Distribution Center)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Night, Evening
Salary: $14.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: Not required
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Setting: Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, Retail and wholesale distribution centre, Moving and storage company, Cross-docking facility
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Light trucks, Towmotors, Reach trucks, Radio frequency scanners (RFS)
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Cold/refrigerated
