Your biggest account will be a large overseas nappy brand. The role requires superseding client’s expectations through all phases of their campaigns and rolling out the implementation of their digital marketing strategies - ultimately ensuring optimal return on investment and delivery of conversions.
What are the requirements: Matric qualification and Tertiary Marketing education. +5 years’ experience in an Account Management or senior digital marketing role. Excellent presentation skills and organizational skills. In depth experience of digital marketing and/or managing the design and development of websites; traditional marketing experience is a plus. A good understanding of paid search campaigns. Experience in large scale project management executing multiple client briefs simultaneously. Experience managing employees. Responsible for overall revenue and agency profitability on allocated accounts. Ability to craft creative briefs and provide clear, persuasive briefings to Creative teams and remain an active contributor throughout the creative development process. Distinct understanding of strategic processes. Ability to lead and grow multiple clients. Be prepared to fly overseas for short client visits.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the client’s single point of contact. Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact (meetings, emails and phone calls), Work with the operational team to ensure campaigns are implemented and up and running in a timely manner. Stay on top of the performance of each campaign and optimise where necessary. Always ensure client accounts are up to date to ensure monthly recons are done, reports are sent out and accounts are paid up. Assist in identifying new business opportunities and qualify appropriate prospects. Assisting with the strategic planning and implementation across accounts. Ensure team members are executing the highest quality of work. Ensure client deadlines are met. Attend regular client meetings, and report back to the director on client projects and campaigns. Monitor client results daily, and actively recommend solutions for accounts that are under-performing. Campaign administration of proposals and contracts. Campaign implementation, management and feedback to clients. Achieving the assigned sales targets & profitability goals.
Personal Traits/ Skills required: Have a complete understanding of the client`s business and market. Passionate about digital marketing, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and channels.
