Job Description: Functions & scope - Prepare budget and arranges consultant services through tender/contract in accordance with company's long term upstream business plan. Check reports & invoices from contractors .Work as member of multi-disciplinary asset evaluation team. Plan & supervises petro physical analysis by contractor and performs petro physical interpretation of individual wells.

Principal Accountabilities: Contracting - Assist in the definition and creation of Scope of Work documentation for Wireline and LWD logging services.

Operations Petro physics: Contribute to well proposal documents by assisting in the definition of well evaluation objectives and the Petro physical logging (tool, strings, operational etc.) and possibly coring requirements necessary to deliver on those objectives in a cost effective manner. Work closely with drilling and service providers to ensure adequate data acquisition planning and preparation are in place prior to drilling the well with particular attention to specialist service like MDT, etc. Assist in providing subsurface support to drilling and well operations. Ensure effective quality control during data acquisition and any service company post acquisition processing. Provide support for gesturing horizontal well tracks to maximize objective interval contact. Provide formation evaluation/Petro physical analysis and during drilling and as part of a final well report post drilling. Ensure that all Petro physical data and reports are properly captured in company archives and databases.

Minimum Requirements: B.Sc. in Geology, Physics, Petroleum Engineering or equivalent. 15 to 20 years petro physics operations and/or experience in the oil/gas industry. Very good written and spoken English. Basic knowledge of PC operations.
