Technician - Wireless Comms, electronics and IT, Location, Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time

A vacancy exists in Piet Retief for an experienced Technician in the fields of Wireless communications and networking, IT and electronics.

Role: Maintain and repair masts and vision and communications systems in the greater Mkhondo area for the Fire Detection System

Requirements: The applicant must be physically fit and able to climb masts. An existing climbing certification (working at heights) will be advantageous.  A code 8 drivers license and own transport to get to work.

Willingness to work standby and overtime if required.

Self-motivation, task and resource prioritization skills and workflow management skills are a must

Deductive reasoning and diagnostic skills will be essential

Ability to lead and manage a team

The applicant must be willing to learn on the job. Experience in

networking, wireless communications and electronics and IT hardware is essential.

The applicant must pass the climbing certification and a fitness medical before employment.
