Retail sales associate (Garden Centre Department)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Part Time leading Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $10.00 Hourly for 20 hours per week, Other Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Hardware store

Product Experience/Knowledge: Flowers and plants
Specific Skills: Operate cash register, Customer service oriented, Set up displays of merchandise in windows or display cases, Process money, cheque and credit/debit card payment, Provide advice about merchandise, Suggest ways to care for goods, Suggestive selling, Work with minimal supervision
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Computer use, Continuous learning
Other Information:Scheduled hours will vary between 16-40 hours depending on business needs. Some heavy lifting. Drug test required. Only selected applicants will be contacted.
