Building Contracts Manager, Location: Wynberg, Sandton, Reports to: Contracts Director, Salary (CTC): R 60, 000 00 – R 70, 000 00 per month (to be confirmed also depending on experience and qualifications)

Please note: Suitable candidates will have a B.Tech or BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management coupled with at least 10 years’ experience working on large building projects.

FIDIC and JBCC contractual knowledge is required for this position.

Managerial experience is required for this position.

A: Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities would be to: meet with clients to understand what they want to do put together plans and estimates, including budgets and timescales prepare and present documents for tenders contribute to work planning, and brief project teams, contractors and suppliers agree any extra work to be done within set timescales gather all information together for invoicing at the end of the project supply information to resolve disputes if they arise identify areas for improvement in existing contracting processes
