Forklift Operator (Forklift/Warehouse)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, On Call, Overtime, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $11.00 to $13.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Work Setting: Warehouse
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Weigh materials and goods, Make labels and attach to goods, Wrap goods, Pack and unpack goods, Sort goods, Crate goods, Stack goods, Store cargo and materials, Transport and distribute materials and goods, Maintain and organize inventory, Operate computerized inventory control systems
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Gloves
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
Essential Skills: Reading text, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory
