The Imperial Hotel in the CBD is looking for a qualified and experienced full time Sous Chef to help with the management of their busy kitchen team. If you are a creative professional looking for a chance to make your mark, then we would like to hear from you.
The Imperial prides itself on delivering unparalleled customer service and relaxed dining in a busy environment. This venue is popular with theatre goers and the corporate crowd so we need to be thinking on our feet!
Interested applicants must:
Have a minimum or 3 years commercial cooking experience
Be confident in their cooking abilities, creative and have high presentation standards
Have cost and stock control experience
Be able to plan and be organised
Be able to supervise and mentor staff at a lower level
Have the ability to assume responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Be aware of OHS legislation and practices
