A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated Venue Manager to take over the Geebung Polo Club.
Combining the old world charm of the late 1800’s with friendly, attentive customer service and a product offering of uncompromising quality, the Geebung is a massive operation boasting dining room, 4 function rooms, outdoor courtyard area, bar and entertainment. With this in mind, you must be up for a challenge and be able to raise the profile and sales of this award winning venue.
The successful candidate will be a strong leader with exceptionally well rounded hospitality experience and the capacity to manage all facets of the venue.
Integral to the role will be:
    A high level of business and financial management skills
    Strong planning and organisational skills
    Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing
    Leadership and people management skills
    Training and development of staff in order to ensure an amazing and consistent experience for all our customers
    Excellent communication skills
    Experience within the bar/pub industry
    Strong problem solving skills
    A passion for the industry
    Creativeness
    Awareness of OH&S legislation and the ability to create a safe environment for both staff and customers
