This successful boutique firm specialises in all aspects of corporate and commercial law and is regularly involved in major projects and transactions of national and international significance. With a leading reputation in the local and wider Australian market, the firm continues to receive increased client instructions and is therefore looking to expand its existing team.
With a highly desirable client base, including a number of listed companies in the energy & resources sector, you will gain top transactional experience working on leading M&A deals, as well as capital markets, general corporate advice and compliance, project and joint venture work.
You will have complete control over the day to day running of your own matters, direct client contact and the autonomy to run your own deals. The supervision of and delegation of work to junior lawyers in the firm will form part of your role, so proven people management experience and  a desire and willingness to mentor juniors will be crucial.
As the ideal candidate, you will have proven expertise across all aspects of corporate and commercial law, a professional and highly commercial approach and a strong client following in the local market. With excellent resources and secretarial support in place, you will be well positioned to grow and expand your own existing client base and take on additional work from the firms established clients.
