Overhead Door Installer (Lead Hand)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): WHMIS Certificate, Not applicable
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: Construction, Installation, Repair, Service/clean
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Rural area
Area of Specialization: Doors, overhead, Shutters
Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Determine layout and installation procedures, Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, Assemble and install products, Utilize hand and power tools, Erect scaffolding and other work platforms, Service and repair installations
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, Supervise other workers
Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Security and Safety: Bondable, Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
