There is an immediate need for a highly experienced Consumer Credit Risk expert to come in as the Head of Consumer Credit and Risk. We are looking for a strategically minded professional who can manage end to end Credit Risk for the retail lending portfolio. One of the regions largest banks is looking to fortify its risk team. There is an immediate need for a highly experienced Consumer Credit Risk expert to come in as the head of retail risk. We are looking for a strategically minded professional with extensive SME experience.

Summary: This is a once in life time opportunity for a leading retail credit risk professional to join one of the biggest banks in the middle east as a key business partner in managing credit risk for the retail lending portfolio on a group level.

Responsibilities: Manage the credit policy for consumer assets of the group and subsidiaries. Manage the launch of new products and maintain proper audit trail of all changes conducted during launches. Review existing credit underwriting standards and product programs. Conduct training and development for risk managers across group operations.

Requirements: years of risk experience in a top level consumer bank, preference for regional experience. Strong consumer credit knowledge and formal risk training Good understanding of retail scorecards and retail analytics well versed with all types of retail products and their features MBA or bachelors degree focused on banking and finance.
