Urgent Requirement for UAE Experienced Quantity Surveyors

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in civil Engineering, 2 to 3 years of Substantial UAE experience of working as a site Quantity Surveyor with Good knowledge of Quantity Surveying methods and procedures, Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills

Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client and assist in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project, Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies, Streamline all cost and quantity records, Calculation of interim and final quantities, Evaluate the unit rates for new work items, Should be able to identify variations / additional work or items from drawings with reference to the BOQ and specifications, Perform risk and value management and cost control, Undertake costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work, Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks, Check sub-contractors tenders for hidden costs, Allocate work to subcontractors, Provide advice on contractual claims, Evaluate completed work and finalize the Contractors monthly payment certificates, Understand the implications of health and safety regulations, Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor or Manager in the preparation of variation orders, Evaluate contractual claims and monitor contracts final cost estimates, Preparation of Final Account with all supporting documentation, Site visits, assessments and projections for future work, Working knowledge of industry standard forms of contract
