Core job description Preparation of Cost Estimations, estimates / budgets Handling of pre & post contract calculations and correspondence Measurement of Bills of Quantities Prepare Tender Documents & tender addendum Tender analysis & negotiation Contract agreement Evaluation, negotiation and selection of suppliers / sub-contractors Specifications Writing Attending pre tender meetings, site visits and preparation of site visit reports Checking and verification of contractor &rsquos interim payment certificates Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations Monitoring project cost and preparation of cost reports. Providing commercial support to Design and Contract Staff Evaluation of contract claims information general expectations Setting up and maintaining contract files Prequalification of contractors and organizing the relevant documentation and file keeping. Prepare and maintain project documents like correspondence, minutes of meeting, notes etc. Keep on learning new skills as per modern practices in the relevant field. Assist HR Manager in interviews during recruitment of staff in QS department.
