Baker - retail (Cake Decorator / Baker)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $11.00 to $13.00 Hourly for 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Setting: Bake shop
Type of Equipment: Conventional oven, Automated mixer or processor
Food Specialties: Desserts and pastries, Wedding and specialty cakes, Cake decorating
Specific Skills: Prepare doughs and batters, Bake mixed dough and batters, Prepare special orders, Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Additional Skills: Maintain records and inventory, Oversee sales
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Continuous learning
Other Information:Bayer's Lake Park. Must be available to work days/evenings/weekends. Preference will be given to those who supply work sample photos. Previous pastry experience or education is an asset but not req.
