Role & Requirements: KiWi Power, a leading smart grid energy company requires a proactive, results-orientated and dedicated Business Development Executive to support the future growth of the business in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of sales and marketing process and drivers in a B2B environment. Reporting to a Business Development Manager within the sales & marketing team, the role will suit a mature individual with a background in telesales who is capable of building quick and meaningful relationships with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including prospective clients.

Responsibilities: Generating leads and qualifying organisations through industry research in order to hand over leads to the sales team to develop and close. Formulating targeting strategies, highlighting key organisations and contacts and coordinating activity with BDM’s. Leading ‘cold calling’ telesales initiatives from our database of prospective clients. Being the first point of contact for incoming leads, qualifying and distributing them to the sales team. Coordinating new campaigns and processes within the sales teams. Supporting the wider sales team with the development of sales processes, including identifying process enhancements, together with creating supporting documentation, training materials and templates for BDM’s. Assisting BDM’s with tender documents including PQQ’s and ITT’s as well as monitoring tender portals to identify new tenders. Attending trade show and conferences

Skills & Aptitude: Highly motivated individual and enthusiastic about green energy and technology. Team player, able to work both individually and on team projects. Commercially aware. Well-honed people and customer management skills. Strong listening and effective written and spoken communication skills
