Content Management Specialist Location, Cape Town, Job Type Full-Time, Salary:R 600 000 CTC / Per Annum, Location: Cape Town

About the company: JSE listed, growing company seeking to employ a dynamic enterprise content management Specialist to provide Identify and agree on taxonomies and governance for all organizational content, implement Open Text content and driving the on-going management of organizational content.

Duties: Identify governance structure, Identify all relevant content within the organization, Agree and document standards (including retention requirements) and taxonomies for organizing content, Design procedures to capture, distribute and store content across all technical and physical environments, Implement Open Text content management software, Design the Open Text processes that will meet the required governance structures, Configure the Open Text software to meet the organization’s requirements, Prepare user documentation for the processes, Test the system, Migrate or capture content where required mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of communications, On-going management of Open Text environment, Ensure that the content management processes and standards are maintained within the organization, Provide support to users on Open Text, Work closely with end-users to identify opportunities to implement further Open Text functionality that will add value to the organization

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar relevant qualification; At least 3 years of specialist experience working with core Enterprise Content Management technologies including IBM FileNet, EMC Documentum, Microsoft SharePoint, Open Text, Oracle UCM, or Autonomy; A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar Enterprise Content Delivery, Document & records management environment, Experience of Content migration and transformation, Beneficial skills and experience, Experience of installation of Open Text software, SAP Experience
