Location, Worcester, Cape Winelands, Advertised By Private, Job Type Full-Time, Venue Chef for a function venue in the winelands, Leipzig Country House, a popular wedding and function venue situated between Worcester and Robertson is looking for a passionate venue chef to join their team.

Responsibilities: Food Orders, Purchasing and Stock Control, Menus, Costing’s, Management of Kitchen Staff, Wedding/ Conference Catering for up to 130 PAX, Breakfast & Dinner for Guests House guests

Requirements: Must have 2-5 years experience in catering for functions/weddings, Culinary Qualification, South African Citizen, Positive, motivated individual, Preferably 22-40 without any dependents, Passion for food, innovative and attention to detail, Calm Temperament, Be willing to relocate/ live in the countryside, Fluent in English & Afrikaans –written and verbal

Well-presented and excellent communication skills: Team Player, Must be able to work under pressure, Own transport, valid driver license, Live on premises in a beautiful cottage among vineyards, Must be willing to work long hours, public holidays and weekends as required by the industry, Please submit CV with contactable references and recent photo as well as salary expectation to qualify for an interview.
