C# .Net Applications Developer, Woodlands, sandton, R50000 – R80 000 per month neg

We are looking for a C# developer responsible for building C# applications, including anything from back-end services to their client-end counterparts. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities: Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code, Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems, Help maintain code quality, organization, and integrity

Skills: Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems, Familiarity with all versions of the .NET framework, Familiarity with front-end development, Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, Strong understanding of web services, Skill for writing reusable C# libraries, Familiar with various design and architectural patterns, Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#, Familiarity with all aspects of Microsoft SQL Server, Familiarity with all versions of Microsoft operating systems for desktop and server, Familiarity with various popular web application frameworks, such as jQuery, etc, Knack for writing clean, readable C# code, Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application, Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes, Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests, Understanding of code versioning tools, eg Team Foundation Server

Familiarity with continuous integration: Minimum Education level or certification required: o Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with minimum 6 months work experience, or Microsoft Certified solution developer for Web Applications with minimum 3 years work experience in the field, or a minimum of 5 years work experience in the field, with a portfolio of previous work completed.
