Production/Project Manager - Residential Construction, R65 –75 000 Cost to Company per month, Gauteng, Our fast growing residential construction client is looking for a YOUNG, suitably qualified Production/ Project Manager to join their dynamic organisation.

Minimum Educational and Competency requirements: BSc degree in Construction Management / Civil Engineering, Member of the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP), At least 5 years experience in Project / Production Management within the construction industry, Experience in construction of residential properties preferred

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Overseeing the production process and drawing up a production schedule for a number of construction sites. Ensuring that production is cost effective. Ensure that houses/units are produced on time and that expectations of quality are met. Calculating the human and material resources needed for each site, Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed. Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment. Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programmes. Liaising with different stakeholders, eg suppliers, managers, etc. Ensure that the company’s policies and goals are implemented and effectively applied. Ensuring that the health and safety plan and standards are complied with. Reviewing site and team performances with individual Construction Managers. Identifying training needs and facilitating training and development of employees in conjunction with the HR Department.
