Manufacturing Factory Foreman - R25000 - R30000, Requirements: At least matric, Manufacturing background preferably bedding or furniture, Multi lingual, Excellent communication skills, Problem solving skills, Conflict resolution

Duties: Factory, Open and close factory on daily bases, Management of  Supervisors: base upholstery, tape edge, and stapling  to make sure that all targets and quality is being met in the factory at all times, Responsible for housekeeping in the factory, Ensure that we reach our daily targets as per our production sheets

Quality control: Responsible for the health and safety within your department

Production: Ensure that production planning is done in advanced and is followed, Checking all quality on all products made and housekeeping is done on a daily bases, Stock take once a month - count and check, Making sure all health and safety rules are been followed, Making sure that the production plans are discussed for the next day, Ensure that all raw materials are ordered a day in advance, Cut & Sew and Quilting, Ensure that production is at least one day in advance, Correct product sizes needs to be made – and tested.

Ensure that you have sufficient fabric to make the required order, Inform head office should you not have the correct fabric immediately, Making sure all raw material has been order for the day, Seeing to all equipment is working properly that the base operators are using, Ensure that employees are meeting their daily production targets, Checking quality from the operators, Base shooting, Making sure all raw material has been order for the day, Seeing to all equipment is working properly that the base operators are using, Ensure that employees are meeting their daily production targets, Checking quality from the operators

Tape edge line: Making sure that cotton and tape has been ordered for the correct products, Ensure that employees are meeting their daily production targets, Quality is being checked

Stapling line: Ensure all hand tools and equipment are in working order, Making sure all products are made according to specification

 Night shift: All staff have arrived checking that they have all the raw material for that nights production, Quality spot checks in the morning, Production target has been meet for the night, Making sure that all equipment is running correctly for that nights production

Training new staff: Making sure new staff are trained properly and that training registers are kept and signed, Ensure that people are multi-skilled within the factory

Discipline: Issue of warnings where staff members have not adhered to the company’s rules and regulations

General: Assist employees where needed, Ensure that production lines have the correct raw material on their lines, Ensure that finished products are being send to the dispatch area as per the bookings, Repair machinery when it’s possible or assist with repairs

Ensure all machinery, tools and equipment are in working order and report any requirements to the Maintenance manager
