MUST HAVE EDUCATION: B. Degree in Industrial Psychology or Human Resources Management (Honours degree advantageous)
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: 5 years HR generalist experience, Key Performance Areas
Duties: Recruitment and Probation Management, Liaise with recruitment agencies, Drafting of job spec for all advertisements, Advertise the vacancies (external & internal) and shortlisting, Workforce planning for fixed contracts (as and when required), Offers, contracts of employments and job descriptions, Induction co-ordination and management, Ongoing management of all personnel files, Assist departments to facilitate probation training, Follow up with managers on probation reviews 1st 3 months, Sit in final interview probation meeting after 3 months, Training Management, Source Suppliers, Budget management, Identifying training needs across the organization, Assist on managing poor work performance, Employee Relations, Disciplinary process management (hearings to CCMA), Employee grievances procedure co-ordinator, General personnel management, Give guidance to line managers in the event of changes proposed in the conditions of employment, processes and system, Consult with employees regarding any changes in their conditions of employment and/or changes in the processes and systems, Manage Incapacity Ill-health cases, Interact with Trade Unions (where required), Leave management, General HR administration (terminations, IOD, staff communication), Facilitate high performance culture through coordinating performance management processes, and personal development plans, Facilitate and promote employee engagement and feedback, To perform payroll administrative duties such as attendance records
Consultation: Give guidance to line managers on various HR related matters, company policy and procedure, etc, Consult with line managers on all matters relating to Human Resources, Consult with employees on all matters relating to their conditions of employment as well as giving guidance on all employment relations matters, including operational issues, Coordinate Employment Equity and Skills Development Forums, Provide professional HR Generalist services and guidance to business units, Adhoc projects, Staff Welfare, Policy Reviews and Adjustments, HR Reporting to Senior Management
