Location, Cape Town, Advertised By Agency, Job Type Full-Time, External sales rep, cape town, Communications r7 500 basic per month + commission, Male or female – must have own car. Our client specialises in high volume laser printing, automated or manual mail inserting and finishing.

This position will be responsible for the achievement of sales profitability. The successful candidate must also be sales driven with the ability to effectively sell the company’s product and/or related services

Duties will include but not subject to: Previous sales experience in the industry is essential, Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organisation’s product/services. Makes telephone calls and in-person, presentations to existing and prospective customers and reporting on sales on a weekly basis. Research resources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential. Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective value to the organisation. Identifies advantages and compares organisation’s products/services. Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.

Skills/Experience: 2-5 years experience in Sales and Marketing environment. Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, ability to determine solutions for customers. Must be result orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid Driver’s license. Fluent in English and Afrikaans
