Ecommerce Commercial Supervisor

Role Purpose

The role holder will manage merchandise activity on awear.com across all channels in line with commercial objectives.  The role holder will work closely with the E-commerce and Marketing Managers to ensure that website is delivering maximum ROI.

Key Responsibilities

    Management of warehouse stock availability, sales performance reporting, site analytics, ad hoc reporting, price and  margin control
    Responsible for maximising site customer conversion using best practice techniques including but not      limited to; CRO, catalogue merchandising, visual merchandising,  promotions, range planning
    Manage quality assurance of content and product catalogue on an ongoing basis, propose and implement      improvement and refine processes on an ongoing basis
    Management of the logistics and customer service functions, photography and video creation
    Contribution to ongoing creative  content,  design, copywriting and  customer engagement campaigns
    Implement processes and  procedures to ensure that the website adheres to pre-defined branded look  and feel.
    Champion development all areas of  the website in line with usability, experience and accessibility      standards.
    Benchmark key industry performers  and market trends, formulating strategies to grow the site
    Work with internal teams to coordinate and resource planned projects between internal departments and      external suppliers.
    Ensure good communication with all other internal departments such as Creative, Marketing, Customer Services and Merchandising.


Candidate Requirements

    College Degree in relevant area: Commerce, Multimedia, Marketing or equivalent.
    Minimum 5 years experience in commercial role with marketing, retail, customer orientated or Internet      background.
    Experienced in managing staff across a range of functions, display leadership and a desire to take      responsibility
    Excel at interpreting detailed information, formulating the correct decisions and converting this into action. Experience using business reporting tools and advanced excel essential
    Ability to analyse key changes within the Internet industry and reflect changes within the site
    Experience and knowledge of Internet architectures and development techniques
    Experience of managing a team in  high pressure environment where exacting deadlines are vital.
    Excellent organisational and communication skills.
    Negotiating skills to manage external suppliers and internal departments
    Ability to effectively and efficiently manage the time of self and others in the achievement of goals
    Project management skills to manage projects with other internal departments

 

Contract Status:  Permanent Full time

Commencement: Immediate

Salary:  € DOE
