Master Operator (Trackless Section), Location, Fochville, North West, Job Type Full-Time

Purpose: The master operator is accountable for all operations and execution to achieve set meters advance per month in the trackless section with Operational, Engineering & Maintenance and Construction activities.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competencies: Shift Boss / Shift Supervisor / Shift Overseer Certificate, Blasting Certificate, Mine Overseer Certificate will be advantageous, A valid Certificate of Fitness or the ability to obtain one, In depth knowledge and experience of the operations of all trackless machinery and basic maintenance on such machines is essential, The ability to operate and be licensed for all trackless machinery is essential

Responsibilities: Ability and experience to lead and manage staff reporting to the position, Optimise production through the utilisation of resources, motivation and development of staff, Responsible for planning, control, order, induction, productivity and safe operations of the section of the mine assigned to him, Health and Safety compliance management to Mine Health and Safety standard operating procedures and rules, Manage people to mine safely and effectively in order to get production results, Monitor compliance to work standards, If you have the relevant Skills, Experience & Qualifications
