Business Designer - financial services, Our client is seeking an experienced Business Designer who will lead the business in definition of solutions from concept to business case; through business design constructs around customer, products, services, and channels; to solution delivery.

 The role will be responsible for scoping and defining new business opportunities and business improvement initiatives aligned to the target operating model and enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the business in defining Business Solutions by identifying design elements around customer, products, services and channels; Manage solution viability decision making through presentation to governance bodies; Drive business case development and options analysis; Development of high-level business requirements; Conceptual definition of value chain and process architecture, business functions/structure, information, and technology; Ensure integrity of solution designs and delivery process in meeting business objectives; Assist with the development and detailing of the business case benefits.

Skills and experience: Financial services experience across a broad range of sectors would be well regarded; Applied experience in business analysis and possible exposure to  business architecture at enterprise level; Expert at building and managing relationships with business at all levels; Skilled in business case development, feasibility studies, and options analysis; Sound understanding of a large financial services environment; Proven track record in conceptual and high-level solution design; Capable of negotiation and influencing senior stakeholders in the decision-making process; Able to demonstrate success in innovation and lateral thinking; and Relevant formal qualification.
