Event Coordinator

Customs House is The University of Queensland's downtown city base.  Located on the river in the CBD, Customs House is a unique heritage venue.  A range of beautifully restored function rooms is available while its stylish riverside restaurant boasts great river views as well as excellent food and professional service

The role: The successful appointee will be required to secure and organise private, university and corporate events catering from 6 to 300 persons.

The person: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry is essential. Superior interpersonal and organization skills are required together with proficiency in written and oral communication, good time management and an ability to work under pressure.

Remuneration: This is a full time continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $60,889.62 - $68,195.82 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $71,240.85 - $79,789.11p.a.)
