Position Description: The Support Worker is responsible for providing support to the residents on site. This includes helping residents develop independent living skills and recreational skills. The Support Worker will also follow up on support plans and assist/support the residents in completing the actions indicated.

Job Criteria: Minimum of Certificate III in Community Services or related subject, Demonstrated experience working with disadvantaged people and understanding of issues related to homelessness, additional qualifications in mental health or substance abuse would be beneficial, Demonstrated experience in facilitating recreational and daily living activities with residents, Demonstrated experience in facilitating residents’ links to the local community, Demonstrated experience of developing support plans and assessment of residents’ support needs, Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Office, Demonstrated sound verbal and written skills to write case notes, Able to work shifts as required, Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices and relevant standards, Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, Current valid WA Drivers Licence (Class C), Applied First Aid Certificate (with at least four months validity), Current police clearance certificate not more than three months old, Rewards: Excellent working conditions, Competitive salary packaging
