Power Engineer, Third Class
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Overtime

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Stationary Engineer 3rd Class
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Setting: Pulp and paper industry
Type of Equipment: High pressure boilers, Compressors, Motors, Switches, Valves, Gauges, Meters
Specific Skills: Monitor and inspect plant equipment, Measure temperature, fuel flow and pressure, Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunction, Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs as required, Maintain daily log of operation, maintenance and safety activities
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Essential Skills: Document use, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking
Languages: English
